Clothes Airer Provides Budget Airline Travel Relief

Tuesday, August 31st, 2010

Travelling by budget airlines may be cheap but its certainly no pleasure. No frills means just that with the risk of being last in line for that budget cold coffee!

Travelling with the heard means just that, as the world jumps on board. They don’t include chill out areas for the weary traveller.

Having a clothes airer waiting for you at home means that as soon as you unpack you can unwind. Simply by getting into the washing drying cycle is getting back into the natural way of life.

In Scotland they say “getting back to auld claes (old clothes) and porridge!” One of the secrets of budget travel is not getting anxious when they call the flight at the gate. Most travellers get up immediately and bunch up in a crowd. Then the first bus goes and the next lot go through. Better just to sit still and wait till the end. Stay cool! Then when all the crowd have melted just slowly arise and stroll through. You will then be amongst the last on the bus and likely first off onto the plane.

With a clothes airer there is no rush. Better to load up the airer and leave it till hours later. Even a day can pass by giving you all that time to do your favourite thing(s). No special separation of the load or worry about the tumble dryer over cooking. No worries about designer clothes or delicate things. They simply dry in their own time. No worries about your tumble dryer catching fire from the lint or fluff extracted from your clothes.

Beach Rentals On Magical Maui

Tuesday, August 31st, 2010

Sun kissed, magical Maui. Named for a Hawaiian god who lassoed the sun so it would take longer to cross the sky, this island paradise is just the right mix of civilization and Mother Nature’s beauty. Warm ocean waters tempt snorkelers with the promise of colorful reef fish. Humpback whales, annual visitors from November to April, can be seen from the shoreline as they dance in the waves. Stretches of white sand invite strolls in the moonlight.

Consider strolling back to an exquisitely furnished oceanfront condo. Condo rentals offer more personal space and privacy than a hotel stay. Units come in a wide variety of sizes, from compact studios ideal for singles and couples to units with one, two, three or more bedrooms suitable for families or friends traveling together. Some condos offer two or more bathrooms. Private balconies or patios are the norm. Kick off your slippers, mix a blender full of mai tai’s in your fully equipped kitchen and stretch out on lounge chairs under a million stars.

Fully equipped kitchens give you the option of exploring the local grocery stores and having a quiet meal in rather than dining out. Kids are always hungry and having a refrigerator stocked with drinks and treats is big plus for families. There is also the luxury of being able to pad into the kitchen in the middle of the night for a midnight snack, still in your pajamas.

Eric Shuman Talks About Del Rey Travel

Eric Shuman has devoted most of his life to making dream vacations affordable for everyone.

Having been in the Travel Business and Timeshare Industry for over 21 years, Eric’s expertise and passion for vacations is unsurpassed.

A native of Philadelphia, Eric grew up wanting to travel the world. Yet every time he shared this dream with others, he was told that “only rich people travel.” To which Eric would then say, “Then I guess I have to do something about that as well.” And he did.

Over the last 13 years, Eric has opened up Travel Club offices in over 20 different cities nationwide including Napa, CA., Fresno, CA., Las Vegas, NV., Miami Beach, FL., Austin, TX., Philadelphia PA. , San Francisco, CA., Scottsdale, AZ., and Valencia, CA..

Never heard of a Travel Club before? Well, don’t worry, it’s a fairly new concept, and yet has been around for over a decade. The reason most people never heard of Travel Clubs is that they don’t typically advertise in normal media, such as television, newspapers and magazines. Rather they’ll invite couples to be their guest at a 90 minute presentation and offer them some form of a “travel gift” as a way of compensation for their time and consideration.

Planning a Maui Destination Wedding

Sunday, August 29th, 2010

Maui destination weddings are a great way to celebrate your big day. With the beautiful scenery Maui has to offer, you can be sure that your wedding will be a memorable occasion for everyone who is lucky to share the day with you. Wedding planners can help you make arrangements in order to have a successful wedding in the Maui vacation paradise. If you’re considering a destination wedding, Maui is a great option.

Have you ever helped a close friend or family member plan a wedding at home? Wedding planners can help with all the small details because all too often the bride and groom get extremely stressed out when planning a home wedding.

Guest lists can become too long, the budget exceeds what was planned, and the wedding can become more about pleasing other people than making the big day special for the bride and groom. A destination wedding is often cheaper, because it is a smaller event with fewer guests to feed, and smaller space required for the ceremony and reception. Maui destination weddings can include the people closest to you, beautiful scenery, and a chance to get away from home and really have a vacation experience. Your wedding and honeymoon can be combined with less stress than a traditional wedding.

An End for the Budget Traveller?

Sunday, August 29th, 2010

As the effects of escalating oil costs continue to affect industries across the board, the credit crunch looks set to hit the consumer hardest once again.

Ryanair are the latest company to reveal the extent of its financial hardships, with annual losses expected to approach GBP50 million. In fact, in the three months to the end of June, the carrier’s net profits had fallen a staggering 85% to just 21 million euro.

With the significant increases in the price of oil over the past few months – a figure which saw it reach a peak in mid-July of nearly $150 per barrel – an announcement such as this was somewhat expected; only the extent of the losses came as a surprise.

Following the announcement from Ryanair, shares in the other exponent of budget flight – easyJet – plunged 8%, while British Airways suffered a drop of 5% in value. Those to suffer the most from the decline in fortune, however, look certain to be those travellers looking to take advantage of the great-value flights on offer.

With a view to curb losses, it is inevitable that profits will require a substantial boost from the raising of ticket prices. So is it time for the average traveller wave goodbye to those 1p fares? And if so, what will the affect be on the travel industry?
